Toronto policesaid they were looking for a man who had been sought in connection with an assault at Scarborough's TTC subway station in late June.
Police said it was around 3:35 pm on June 27. A 49-year-old man was smoking outside Victoria Park Subway Station.
Investigators said there was a brief verbal exchange between the smoking man and the suspect.
Police then said the suspect had subsequently assaulted a 49-year-old man "many times."

The victim was seriously injured in a hospital, police said he was later released.

He is described as having a medium build of dark wavy hair. He wore a blue and white striped shirt, blue jeans, and a gray runner with white soles. He also had a cell phone with headphones.
An image of the suspect's security camera has been released by police.
