Suspicious Saskatoon Fire Causes $30,000 in Damage

A suspiciousfireat the 500 block of Avenue W South in Saskatoon on Wednesday evening caused approximately $30,000 in damage.

Firefighters attending a community event received a call that they saw smoke coming from an apartment building.

Police arrived at the scene and reported that the fire was starting from the basement of the building.

Saskatoon The fire department was under control at 8:11 p.m. when the fire was brought on, and the fire was found to originate from a small storage room next to the door of the suite.
