Third suspect charged in Markham double stabbing

A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a double stabbing that occurred last month in Markham.

York Regional Police say officers responded to an establishment near Hwy. 7 E. and Commerce Valley Dr. W. around 2 a.m. on Dec. 3 and located two men suffering from stab wounds.

Police say two males and one female were waiting outside when the victims left the establishment.

The assailants got into a physical altercation with the victim, police say. One assailant had a knife and stabbed both victims several times.

The two men got into a dark-coloured vehicle where the woman was waiting and they fled the scene.

On Dec. 8, 2022, police arrested and charged two suspects.

Rachel Ga Yoon Kim, 26, of Vaughan, and Thomas Mu He, 22, of Toronto, were charged with two counts of attempt to commit murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

A third suspect was located in Brampton and arrested Thursday.

Eriston Sadiku, 23, of Vaughan, is charged with two counts of attempt to commit murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
