Three rescued from Lake Ontario off Toronto Islands: Cops

The Toronto Police Marine Unit have rescued three people out of Lake Ontario.

Police were called at 8:32 a.m. on Monday for a water rescue after three people were located in the water off the Toronto Islands.

The call is still active and the people are being assessed by paramedics for hypothermia.

Police say it is unclear how the people ended up in the lake.
