Richard (Dick) Mayland, one of the longest serving prison terms for Operation Springtime 2001, received customs officers' orders that the RCMP believes accused of failing to declare money in through criminal proceeds.

An indictment against Richard (Dick) Mayland was filed in a Montreal court this week. The alleged violation occurred in February, and Mayrand was summoned to appear in court in September.
It is the first time Mayrand has been charged with a crime since her Operation Springtime in 2001. He and many other members of his Hells Angels Nomads chapter and the drug trafficking networks that worked under them were rounded up and prosecuted. Selling drugs, including cocaine, and part of a conspiracy to eliminate enemies that became known as the Quebec Biker Gang War.
His Mayrand, who was then a full patch of the Nomadic Branch, was a member of the , was one of the few who ever had a full trial before a jury.
He served one of his longest prison terms served in Operation Springtime in 2001, and overall he served a 16-year prison sentence.
