"We are now expanding the search," said his son Michael Madeira, 40, on Monday afternoon.

"This week has been focused on a homeless shelter in the heart of downtown. We suspect he fell into a group of people. He said, I'm just going through this state of mind where I don't know where I am...Maybe I'm giving them water or food.So downtown is the easiest to get to everything. And walking is the easiest way to get him. It's not a silly walk from where (Eglinton and Oakwood Streets) live."
