Traffic alert: Heavy congestion after 'vehicle incident' on Highway 1 in Coquitlam

The left and centre lanes heading westbound were closed for about an hour.

Metro Vancouver commuters heading westbound on Highway 1 are facing a heavier-than-normal rush hour commute.

A vehicle incident on the westbound lanes of the highway in Coquitlam, between King Edward Street and the exit for United Boulevard (Exit 44) had temporarily blocked the left and centre lanes, with vehicles only able to get through on the right lane.
