A tropical cyclone Bonnie is expected to land late Friday night near the border between Nicaragua and Costa Rica, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Friday.
Bonnie is a Miami-based weather forecaster located about 195 miles (315 km) east-southeast of Bluefields, Nicaragua, and packed with maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour (65 km / h). Said at 11:00 am. EDT (1500 GMT) report.
The center added that the system would cross southern Nicaragua or northern Costa Rica on Friday night and emerge in the eastern Pacific Ocean on Saturday. (Report by Kavya Guduru in Bangalore, edited by Jonathan Oatis)
