Former US President Donald Trump will arrive at the New York Attorney General's Office in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday and will testify there. of a civil investigation into his family's business practices.
New York Attorney General Letitia James is investigating whether the Trump Organization inflated real estate values. Separately, the FBI raided Trump's Florida estate on Monday to launch a federal investigation into whether Trump illegally removed records from the White House when he resigned in January 2021.
Trump has publicly announced that he will run for president again in 2024, but has not explicitly stated whether he will do so.
The warrant to search Trump's Florida mansion is linked to the National Archives and Records Administration, which is responsible for safeguarding the president's records, and is located at his resort in Mara Lago, Florida. It has to do with whether or not there was a confidential document. Palm Beach, Florida, according to a person familiar with the matter.
