Tunisia — Tunisia has purchased eight military training aircraft from the United States as part of a plan to renew its fleet of Air Force trainer aircraft, the Pentagon said in a statement on Monday.
He added that an agreement was signed between the US government and the Textron Aviation Defense to provide training aircraft to Tunisia.
The statement states that the first batch of new aircraft will be delivered by the end of March 2023 and delivery will be completed by October 2026.
He added that most of the transaction funds were funded through US subsidies and Tunisia would pay the rest.
