2 people The Ottawa people were attacked at ByWard Market late Friday when they were arrested in connection.
A victim was found on the scene. His injury is not considered life-threatening.
The 42 and 38 year old suspects were immediately arrested.
They were supposed to appear in court on Saturday morning.
Both men were charged with probation violations and numerous assaults and weapons charges.
Police said it had nothing to do with the activities of Canada Day.
