A man and a woman were killed in a shooting Friday night in Longueuil.

Police found the victims near each other in a parking lot off Lyon St. around 8:15 p.m. Police believe the shots were fired from a vehicle. No suspects have been arrested.

A security perimeter was erected and Longueuil police spoke with witnesses Friday night. Police said they were trying to determine how each person involved knew each other and whether the shooting was a settling of accounts.

The ages of the victims have not been confirmed.

A section of Lyon St. between Jacques-Cartier Blvd. and Darveau St. was been temporarily closed to traffic.
