London (AP) — British military authorities are trying to find someone who hacked a military social media account over the weekend and are flooded with cryptocurrency videos and posts related to collectable electronic art. ..
The investigation began after the authorized content of the military YouTube account was replaced with a video feed promoting cryptocurrencies containing images of billionaire Elon Musk. The Army's Twitter account has retweeted numerous posts about irreplaceable tokens, unique digital images that can be bought and sold but have no physical counterpart.
"We apologize for the temporary interruption of the feed," the military said in a tweet posted after the Twitter account was restored on Sunday. "We will do a full investigation and learn from this case. Thank you for following us. Normal service will resume."

Internet users couldn't access the Army's YouTube site on Monday, but a spokesperson said the site was down due to standard maintenance. The Twitter feed was working fine.
