Saturday's Ukrainian bombardment forced Russian troops to stop the evacuation of people from the Sieviero Donetsk chemical plant just hours after the Moscow troops occupied the city. The Tas news agency quoted the remarks of the local police.
Separately, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's senior adviser said the special forces were still in Sieviero Donetsk and ordered the Russians to bombard. Adviser Oleksiy Aresevich spoke at the video address. (Report by David Ljunggren; Edited by Sandra Maler)
