The latest victim, a 39-year-old woman, was found critically injured early Thursday morning on the Downtown Eastside.
Vancouver Police said a woman was found bleeding from a gunshot wound on her east side downtown early Thursday morning. After being found, an investigation is underway.
Police said her 39-year-old woman, who was seriously injured, approached a passerby and called for her help. She was found by police near Maine Street and East Cordoba before 1 a.m. and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"Investigators believe the shooting likely occurred on the Downtown East Side, but due to the victim's injuries, no further details were available," police said. said in a statement.
The shooting in Vancouver is her third in four days.
Shortly after midnight on Sunday, West Police were called after a man was reported to have broken into a public housing estate near Pender and Richards Streets and shot someone.
Police identified the victim as a 34-year-old male. His injuries were not life-threatening and he was able to exit the building. He was later found on the Downtown Eastside.
On Tuesday, a 38-year-old man was shot dead outside his driveway and his home near Gravely Street. His injuries were not life threatening.
Vancouver Police said they were investigating whether the shootings were related.
