The vehicle left the road and struck a pole.

Three passengers, all in their 30s, suffered a number of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, including broken bones and broken teeth.

The driver, a 35-year-old Vancouver man, was arrested at the scene. Investigators believe speed and alcohol were factors in the collision.

Investigators ask anyone with dashcam video, or anyone who saw the vehicle before the collision, to contact VPD’s Collision Investigation Unit at 604-717-3012.
