Vatican Shelves Sexual Assault Investigation Against Cardinal Marc Ouellet

Pope Francis says there is insufficient evidence to initiate a formal investigation into the sexual assault of Cardinal Marc Ouerret of Quebec.

The Pope made the declaration today through the Director General of the Press of the Holy See.

Ouellet faces sexual assault allegations in a class action lawsuit filed in the Quebec Superior Court this week.
