An unidentified driver was pulled to safety before their vehicle burst into flames after striking a house near Highway 15 in Portland, Ont., on Saturday.
The driver was then transported to hospital, the Ontario Provincial Police posted on Twitter. No further details on their condition were immediately available.

The house was unoccupied at the time of the crash, OPP added.
The Leeds detachment of the OPP closed Highway 15 at Station Road in Portland to allow fire crews to bring the blaze under control, which they did by early evening.
The investigation of the incident was continuing, the OPP tweeted.
Portland is about 100 kilometres southwest of Ottawa.
