A 47-year-old man from Vernon, British Columbia, was seriously injured after being hit by a car while crossing 25th Street late Friday night.
Vernon's man is currently in hospital and in stable condition, but at about 11:00 pm he was on the road 3700 blocks from25th Street. was hit and seriously injured while crossing the
Video surveillance captured the incident and shows a man crossing Highway 25. The RCMP said in a press release:

25 Street has been closed to traffic for a period of time as police conduct an investigation.Members of the RCMP Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services team are present at the scene to assist with the ongoing investigation.
