The British Columbia government's handling of medical files has prompted Vernon, British Columbia residents to launch a recall campaign against their local New Democrat MP.
Genevieve Ring says Vernon-Monashee MLA Harwinder Sandhu is part of her NDP government that has let British Columbia residents down with COVID-19 and the critical health care problem. , says it should be recalled.

Ring isn't ready to make changes to improve healthcare as she waits for the next election scheduled for the fall of 2024.
Elections BC said in a statement that it received a petition from Ring that meets the requirements of the Recall and Initiatives Act and that she will issue the petition on August 11.
