Weekend Traffic: Chaos Mainly on South Shore

Please note the following from August 12th to 15th.

Highway and road disruptions in and around Montreal over the weekend, especially on the South Shore. Some things to notice are:

State Highway 132

From 11:00 pm Friday to 5:00 am Monday, Route 132 East of Longueuil is at Exit 82 (Route 134, Rue Tacherreau, Jacques-Cartier Bridge) and highways 20, 25 and Route 132 interchanges are completely closed.

SH13

North of SH13 will be closed between Exit 2 (Hickmore Street) and Highway 40 all night – 10:00pm to 10:00pm all weekend. Friday and Saturday nights until 10am the next morning and 10pm the next morning. Sunday through Monday until 5am.

Hwy 13 South will be permanently closed between Exit 6 (Hwy 40) and the entrance to Hwy 520 beginning at 11:59 PM. Until 8:00 am the next morning on Friday and Saturday nights.

Highway 15

At Candiac and La Prairie, Two of the three lanes will be partially closed on Highway 15 North between Exit 45 (Hwy 134, Taschereau Blvd., La Prairie) and Matte Blvd. 7pm to 11pm Fridays 8am to 11pm. Saturday, 9am to 11pm. on sunday.

Highway 136

Friday at 11pm From to 11:59 pm on Sunday, two of the four lanes on Route 136 East will be partially closed within the Ville-Marie Tunnel between Notre-Dame West and Cathedral Street. Entrance and Exit 6 (Berri Street ., St-Laurent Blvd.).

Other closures to note

In the Southwest of Montreal, Saint-Antoine Street W. will be closed off Avenue Georges Vanier. 8am to 7pm to Atwater Avenue. Saturday, 9am and 7pm on Sunday.

  2. The REM's tunnel boring machine has completed a 2.5-kilometre link from the Technoparc in St-Laurent to the underground area where the REM station will be built in the airport’s basement level.

    Mayor Dorval says it "makes no sense" not to extend REM another 700 meters
