Weekend traffic: Roadwork planned for Mercier Bridge, St-Pierre Interchange

Motorists should brace for another busy weekend of construction and repairs on Montreal’s road network.

Motorists should brace for another busy weekend of construction and repairs on metropolitan Montreal’s road network. Highways 15 and 25, the St-Pierre Interchange and the Honoré-Mercier Bridge are among the areas to avoid.

Highway 25 / Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel

Northbound Highway 25 will be closed between Exit 90 and the Souligny Ave. entrance from 12:30 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday. This includes the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel.

Marie-Victorin Blvd. (Brossard)

Eastbound Marie-Victorin Blvd. will be closed between the access ramp to eastbound Highway 10 and the entrance to westbound Highway 10 from 11 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

The access ramp leading from eastbound Highway 10 (Exit 6) to eastbound Route 132 will be closed.

One of three lanes on eastbound Route 132 will be closed just before the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge.

St-Pierre Interchange

The access ramp inside the interchange leading to eastbound Route 138 to eastbound Highway 20 will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Two of three lanes on eastbound Route 138 will be closed between Clément St. and the interchange from 7 a.m. Saturday until 11 p.m. Sunday.

Mercier Bridge

The Montreal-bound span of the bridge will be closed, with one lane of traffic open in each direction on the other span, from 2 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Highway 40

Eastbound Highway 40 will be completely closed between Exit 41 and the next entrance between 11:59 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday. Motorists will need to take the service road.\

Highway 13

Contraflow traffic will be in force between Highway 520 and Côte-Vertu Blvd. Traffic will be diverted to the southbound side, with one lane in each direction, from 11 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Highway 15

Starting at 9 p.m. Friday, the westbound Highway 520 entrance to northbound Highway 13 will be closed.

Starting at 10 p.m. Friday, two of three lanes on southbound Highway 13 will be closed between Highways 40 and 520.

La Prairie

Two of three lanes on southbound Highway 15 will be closed between Exit 50 and the entrance to Route 134 at various times this weekend. The closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Southbound Highway 15 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 7:30 a.m. Saturday; from 10 p.m. Saturday until 7:30 a.m. Sunday; and from 9:30 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.
