After some summer-in-October weather, the Thanksgiving weekend gets a a decidedly autumnal start ahead of some more seasonal temperatures.

Friday’s forecast high is just 9 C with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a northwest wind at 20 km/h, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.

The mercury is expected to dip to 0 C overnight with skies clearing after midnight.

For Saturday, the forecast high is 11 C with sunny skies expected to turn mixed in the afternoon and wind becoming southwest at 20 km/h gusting to 40 in the morning.

There’s a 30 per cent chance of showers Saturday night with an expected low of 7 C.
