Three sixty-six Wellesley offers the best of the urban experience, the owner says. It’s in an “incredible neighbourhood in the middle of the city.” It offers private outdoor space and is close to amenities.
The 1860s brick house is, the owner says, “just right for the way we live. It is the perfect size with two bedrooms and an office on the second floor. (The lower level has another office.)
“We like the fact that the kitchen is at the front and the bay window allows space for a table looking out to the street.”
The owner also says the open plan is ideal for entertaining, allowing cooks and guests to enjoy each other’s company during the meal prep.
Listing agent Jim Burtnick says the house “appealed to a broad range of prospective buyers but (mostly) couples due to its smaller size.”
The 14.5×83-foot lot has a backyard that Burtnick says is full of foliage.
The owner says it is a perfect urban space, calling it an oasis in the city. “It is large enough for us to host parties of 10-12 people with ease but small enough to maintain with little effort. The front yard allows for a great green space between the house and the street. We planted all the trees and have watched them mature over the years.”
Burtnick says the adjacent neighbour (who shares the front garden entrance) is an avid gardener and keeps it meticulous. A birdbath attracts many colouful birds.”
The property was on the market for some time but “generated a lot of activity at the multiple open houses that were held during the course of the listing,” he says.
“This was truly an 11th-hour deal. We received an offer on the last day of the listing and were able to negotiate a deal shortly thereafter.”
