Here is a list of what will be open and closed for Thanksgiving Monday, Oct. 10.
There will be no mail delivery or collection by Canada Post.

Most bank branches will be closed.
Shopping malls, supermarkets and most pharmacies are open.
All major public markets, like Atwater and Jean-Talon, will be open.
Most Société des Alcools du Québec outlets will be open.
Municipal offices, including Accès Montréal outlets, will be closed.
Garbage, recycling, compost and other collections will take place according to the usual schedules in each borough.
The city’s Ecocentres will be open.
All parking restrictions and automated parking machines remain in effect.
Montreal boroughs set their own schedule for sports centres, pools, arenas, libraries and cultural centres. Check your local borough’s website for more details.
The Biodôme, Planetarium, Jardin Botanique, Insectarium and the Biosphère will all be open.
Montreal’s Municipal Court will be closed.
The Société de transport de Montréal will run buses on a weekend schedule with modified times. Check the changes specific to your route at stm.info
The Société de Transport de Laval and Réseau de transport de Longueuil will operate buses and shared taxi services on Saturday schedules. RTL on Demand will not be in operation.
Exo commuter trains will run on Sunday schedules, meaning no service on the Mont-St-Hilaire, Candiac and Mascouche lines.
Montreal’s Grande Bibliothèque is closed on Mondays.
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is closed on Mondays. The McCord Stewart Museum and the Pointe-à-Callière Museum will be open.
