White Sox Revives RHP Liam Hendriks of Adam Engel, Illinois

The Chicago White Sox revived outfielder Adam Engel from Liam Hendriks and Illinois for 10 days, closer to the 15-day injured list on Monday before visiting the Minnesota Twins.

Right-handed Hendricks hasn't played since June 10 due to tension in his right forearm. He was stationed in Illinois on June 14th, dating back to June 11th.

2019 and 2021 all-stars Hendricks led the American League with last season's saves (38), leading to an AL lead at 16. When he went to IL. The 33-year-old Australian had 10 consecutive unscored outing wins before his IL stint. He is 1-2 and ERA is 2.81.

Engel, 30, has been out on the right hamstring strain since June 23rd. He hit .240 in one home run, 11 doubles, 10 RBIs and 18 runs. He has become a right fielder in 42 of the 56 games played this season.

In response, Chicago chose outfielder Adam Haseley and right-handed Jimmy Lambert as Triple A Charlotte.
