OPP, parents issue new plea on the anniversary of Jonus Keegan Palmer's murder
OPP released a video a year ago hoping to resolve the murder of a man near Midland.
Jonus Keegan Palmer, 24, was shot deadly outside his Old Fort Road home on the night of July 5, 2021. At Tay Township.
Details Insp. Jennifer Parker said Palmer was staying in the dwelling with his friend and he was outside when he was killed.
Police say some people were at home that night.
Investigators said the house was subsequently sold and the new owner had nothing to do with the murder.
Patton said police had interviewed dozens of witnesses about the death, but said there was more to move forward.
In a video appeal, Palmer's parents describe him as an extroverted man full of energy and life.
