Langley, BC — The British Columbia Department of the Environment has Wolves escaped enclosure at Greater Vancouver Zoo, saying one is still missing.

The zoo has asked the Sheriff's Service to help retrieve an escaped wolf from the zoo in Langley Township, about 55 kilometers east of Vancouver, according to the ministry. It says.

One wolf is still missing and the zoo is working to recapture it.

She has nine adult wolves and her six cubs at the zoo, which announced its closure Tuesday morning through her Instagram and Facebook accounts.

The Ministry of the Environment has not disclosed how many wolves have escaped.

Those who have seen the missing wolf are asked to keep their distance and call 1-877-952-7277.
