Police said a 20-year-old woman was hit deadly on Wednesday night when she pushed her little daughter into a stroller on the Upper East Side. ..
The woman was near the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 95th Avenue around 8:30 pm. Police said in a statement when she was shot. She was taken to the Metropolitan Hospital Center, where she was sentenced to her death, police said.
The three-month-old baby was not injured, but was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation, police said. Julie Menin, a city council member representing the region, said onTwitterthat the victim was the mother of a child. Her identity is not disclosed until her family is notified.
