Woman charged after relative stabbed in south Etobicoke: Cops

A woman is in police custody after a stabbing in Toronto’s west end sent a man to hospital.

Police were called to a building in the 33rd Street and Park Boulevard area in south Etobicoke shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday.

Officers found a man with multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition.

One suspect was arrested on scene.

Toronto Police Const. Laura Brabant said the victim and suspect are related. “To protect the victim’s identity, we will not be releasing the accused’s name,” she added.

The woman has been charged with assault cause bodily harm and will be appearing at Toronto West Courts Friday at 10 a.m.
