The woman was rescued by firefighters early Friday after being unknowingly found at the scene of the fire.
Around 1 am, a fire broke out in an apartment building on Marin Ave. near St-Jacques St. in the Sud-Ouest district.
A woman about 35 years old was not yet identified on Friday. She was taken to the hospital, but she wasn't considered at risk of her life.
3 Alarm The cause of the fire has not yet been identified. Arson of the Montreal Police took over the investigation.
