A woman with a gunshot wound was found early Thursday morning on theDowntown Eastside and is currently under investigation byVancouver Police
The 39-year-old woman was found shortly before 1 a.m. near Main Street and East Cordoba Street after approaching passers-by and asking for help, according to police.

Administered first aid to a seriously injured woman before being taken to hospital by paramedics.

Cops Are 8 First called on Sunday, March 7, an unknown man was reported to have entered the building and shot someone at public housing near West Pender and Richards Streets.
Victims numbered 34. The 12-year-old man, although not in a life-threatening condition, escaped and was later found on the Downtown East Side, police said.
Two days later, on August 9, a 38-year-old man was shot dead outside his home near a commercial on his driveway and Gravely Street. Police said his injuries were also not life-threatening.
Vancouver Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made in this latest incident and are investigating whether the shooting is linked.
