If you’re like me, I enjoy a parlay bet to spice things up while watching sports. For February, I’m going to play (as the title of this article says) a parlay every day (Monday to Friday) and post it in a daily article. I’ll keep track of the results here, and we’ll see where I end up after the month. Every parlay bet will be a one-unit wager unless otherwise noted.

One piece of advice: If you’re joining me on this challenge, ensure you’re responsible with your bankroll. Parlay bets can be fun, but they can be difficult to win consistently. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

*Odds as of 2pm ET*

Sebastian Aho over 2.5 shots on goal + Morgan Rielly over 1.5 shots on goal (+159, Betano). Betting 1 unit to win 1.59 units.

With only two games on the NHL schedule before the break for the NHL All-Star Game, our choices for props tonight are limited, but a couple stand out.

Sebastian Aho has been on a tear of late, with nine goals in his last seven games. That’s not what we’re looking for here, though. We want him to put the puck on the net, and he’s also done that with 39 shots on goal in his last 10 games. The Hurricanes are on the second half of a back-to-back and playing their third game in four nights, but I’ll side with the talent here and say Aho can get there.

Morgan Rielly has started to look like his old self of late. He finally scored his first goal of the year the other night against Washington.

If this prop were set at 2.5, there’s no chance I’d be interested, but I’m all over it since it’s at 1.5. In his last five games, Rielly has attempted 26 shots, with 12 hitting the target. On the season, Rielly is averaging 2.1 shots on home ice. Without Auston Matthews, there are more shots for the rest of the Maple Leafs. The matchup against the Bruins is far from easy, but I expect Rielly to be at his best.
