Petra Kvitova defeated Elena Ostapenko 6-3, 6-2 at Lossey International in Eastbourne, England, winning her first title on Saturdays over a year.

The 14th seed from the Czech Republic improved to 5-1 in the Grass Court finals, including the 2011 and 2014 Wimbledon wins. This is Kvitova's 29th career title and the first since Doha in March 2021.

Kvitova finished with 18 winners with only 12 forced errors against Ostapenko, the eighth seed from Latvia. Kvitova hit seven aces and saved all five breakpoints. This is the third consecutive match without losing her serve.
