Close to €1 million worth of cocaine seized at Rosslare Europort

REVENUE OFFICERS TODAY seized cocaine worth almost €1 million at Rosslare Europort in Co Wexford.

The seizure came as a result of “risk profiling” and with the assistance of detector dog Daithí and Revenue’s mobile x-ray scanner.

Over 13 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated value of around €918,000 were discovered when a Bulgarian-registered cab unit was stopped and searched, having earlier arrived on a ferry from Dunkirk, France.
