Police Conduct Another Successful Operation 🚨

POLICE officers from the Northern Division on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, executed a search warrant on the premises of thirty-four-year-old Eyan Williams, also known as Peanut, of Reduit, Gros-Islet. The search resulted in the discovery and seizure of the following items: one bulletproof vest, one pair of handcuffs, a quantity of green plant-like material and one air rifle.

According to police, Williams was accompanied by his brother, thirty-one-year-old, Riam Williams, also of Reduit, Gros Islet. The brothers were arrested for Possession of Firearm without a valid licence.

Another search warrant was executed on the premises of thirty-year-old Kerrigan Magloire alias Coolie of Bocage, Castries. A search led to the discovery one of .40 calibre pistol and two .40 rounds of ammunition. Magloire was arrested for Possession of Firearm and Ammunition without a valid licence.

The Williams were charged for the offences of Possession of Firearm without a valid licence. They were presented before the First District Court, where bail was granted in the sum of fifteen thousand dollars, cash or suitable surety respectively.

Magloire was also charged for Possession of Firearm, and Possession of Ammunition without a valid licence. He was taken before the First District Court for bail, which was set at ten thousand dollars cash or suitable surety for Possession of Firearm and five thousand dollars cash or suitable surety, for Possession of Ammunition.

Police say they have been working tirelessly to make a difference, and will continue to do so.
