Joel Cholo Brooks is a Liberian journalist who previously worked for several international news outlets including the BBC African Service. He is the CEO of the Global News Network which publishes two local weeklies, The Star and The GNN-Liberia Newspapers. He is a member of the Press Union Of Liberia (PUL) since 1986, and several other international organizations of journalists, and is currently contributing to the South Africa Broadcasting Corporation as Liberia Correspondent.
Mysterious five incident which took place late last night killed five family members of the late Angel Tokpah including a baby in a fire disaster in the Caldwell New Georgia Community of Montserrado County.
The terrible incident occurred early Monday morning, September 25, 2023.
The actual cause of the fire is yet to be established, but eyewitnesses and community dwellers blamed the situation on electrical faults.
Investigations are said to be underway to establish the cause of the fire.
