The 76th Creative Arts Emmy Awards, held on September 8-9, 2024, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, witnessed a historic moment as FX's "Shogun" shattered records with an unprecedented 14 Emmy wins for a single season. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 13 set by the 2008 limited series "John Adams."

"Shogun," based on James Clavell's 1975 novel, dominated the ceremony, securing victories in categories such as costumes, makeup, editing, stunts, and cinematography. Another standout performer of the night was "The Bear," which garnered seven Emmy awards. Jamie Lee Curtis secured her first Emmy for her guest appearance in the episode "Fishes," portraying the mother of Jeremy Allen White's character. Curtis, who won an Oscar 18 months prior for "Everything Everywhere All at Once," expressed her gratitude and excitement backstage.
