Vadym Filashkin, the regional governor, reported that an elderly couple lost their lives in Antonivka village, situated approximately 5 kilometers from the active combat zone. The attack also left one person injured. In a separate incident, two more individuals, a man and a woman, were killed in the Mykhaylivka settlement.
The Donetsk region, which has been a focal point of the Russo-Ukrainian War since 2014, continues to experience regular shelling and air strikes from Russian forces. This area, known for its significant coal mining industry and industrial heritage, has been deeply affected by the ongoing conflict.
