Ukraine Thwarts Massive Overnight Drone Attack Across Seven Regions

The central regions of Cherkasy and Vinnytsia each reported four drones shot down, with no damages or casualties reported. Vinnytsia, which hosts the command center of the Ukrainian Air Force, demonstrated the effectiveness of its defenses.

Kyiv regional authorities acknowledged air defense engagements but provided no detailed information about the aftermath. The capital has been a prime target since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, leading to continuous improvements in its air defense systems.

In a separate incident, the Sumy region, which borders Russia, reportedly intercepted a ballistic missile. This interception is particularly noteworthy, as ballistic missiles are generally more challenging to neutralize due to their speed and trajectory.
