Army Vows Crackdown On Terrorists


The general officer commanding 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army, Jos, Major General Benson Akinloye Akinloriyo,  has vowed that the military would leave no stone unturned to crackdown on all terrorists group distracting the peace of the  people of the state.

He added that security of lives and property piloted by the military has brought about peaceful coexistence that has enhanced development in the vountry.

He stressed that Taraba State has been facing series of security challenges ranging  from farmers/herdsmen clashes, armed robbery attacks, kidnappings, tribal, religious crises among others.

He explained that the intervention of the military in some crisis areas of the state has reduced vices to the barest minimum.

On his part, Taraba State governor, Arc Darius Ishaku,  urged the federal government to always assist the military in order to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

“On my own part, I will continue to do my best to support you when the need arise to enable you carry out your civic duties,” Ishaku said.
