Manchester United vs. Chelsea: Who wins the Premier League clash

Manchester United will welcome Chelsea at Old Trafford this weekend for Match Day six of the Premier League season in the English top flight.

Both sides had contrasting outings in midweek with the Red Devils getting the better of French giants PSG 1-2 away from home.

They achieved the feat, all credit to Axel Tuanzebe superb defensive showings, as well as striker Marcus Rashford who was the hero for Manchester United with the 87th-minute winner.

But the Blues were held to a goalless draw at home against the rejuvenated Sevilla side that claimed the Europa League crown last season, though at the expense of Manchester United and Inter Milan.

Ahead of the match, the Red Devils can be seen as favourites as they also triumphed 1-4 away at Newcastle United last week.

And these magnificent reckonings in recent games for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United side should give them some form of an edge mentally going into the game against the Blues.

However, with Frank Lampard’s side seeking redemption, coupled with the talent of N’Golo Kante, Kai Havertz and possible debutant Hakim Ziyech, the visitors have a good chance to sneak away with the win at Old Trafford.

It promises to be an intriguing match-up between both sides as Chelsea would look to the memories of their semi-final success over Manchester United last season prior to this clash.

United’s advantage may be glaring to an extent with Bruno Fernandes running the show in the final third.

But the Londoners have the true quality to compete on the pitch irrespective of their below-par performance as they travel to Old Trafford with all the pride and the significance attached to this fixture.
