Real Madrid, Barcelona to enter race to sign Jadon Sancho

Real Madrid and Barcelona could enter the race to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho if Manchester United fail to sign him this summer, according to Mirror Sport.

United have reached a deadlock in their negotiations with the German club, who are demanding a fee of £108million.

The Red Devils remain hopeful they can reach a deal, but Dortmund have repeatedly insisted the forward is going nowhere after a August 10 deadline was not met.

Sancho is currently at a preseason training camp in Switzerland with the club.

It is now believed that if Sancho eventually stays for the 2020/2021 season, Real and Barca could pounce next summer.

Neither of the LaLiga giants are in a position to make a bid for the 20-year-old ahead of next season, with both clubs feeling the economic strain of COVID-19.
