Police say a campervan was broken into near Shag Point on Thursday afternoon and bags, money and passports were taken.

In another break-in on Friday afternoon, items were taken from a campervan parked near Moeraki.

Both incidents were reported to police immediately.

Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch with Constable Nathan Bobbette in Palmerston on (03) 465 4270, or anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
