Controversial and under-fire podcast contributor Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi is not happy with how his estranged wife afro soul singer Berita is living her life.
On Wednesday 10 August, the former artist manager urged his followers to pray for her to “overcome the slay queen demon” after the Ndicel’ikiss hitmaker shared stunning images of herself in a red dress which he called “a thirst trap”. Nota also accused the musician of being financially abusive during their marriage.

NOTA CLAIMS BERITA HAS ‘SLAY QUEEN DEMON’
Last month, Nota took to the Everything SA Music (ESAM) podcast on YouTube to claim Berita was “taken by the Illuminati”.
The former couple got married in July 2020. However, their marriage came crumbling down in less than two years as the Thandolwethu singer announced in July this year that she left their matrimonial home in January.
While Berita seems to have moved on and is minding her business, Nota is still in denial that his marriage is over as he believes the 31-year-old singer is being controlled and manipulated.
Following Berita’s stunning images on her social media, Nota accused her of being a slay queen and posting “thirst traps.”
“If you love @beritaafrosoul join our prayers for her to overcome the Slay Queen Demon that’s possessed my wife. It hurts to have to go through this publicly but no man can sit idly by as his wife destroys her own life with the world watching & our enemies cheering! #BlackLoveBack,” he wrote.

‘MAYBE BERITA USED ME FOR MARRIAGE CONTENT’
The 31-year-old former music executive is also not taking it well that his estranged wife has removed his pictures from her Instagram.
“Maybe @beritaafrosoul used me for marriage content to get wedding bookings… She’s wiped her instagram timeline like she didn’t across vowing to be with me for better or worse in sickness & in health… How can someone who clearly doesn’t respect her own vows be a wedding singer?”
Nota also claimed Berita was “jealous of his fame” and was financially abusive because she wanted “wife allowance” from him.
“Conclusion: My wife’s demand for an allowance was just another one of the forms of financial abuse I endured in my relationship. When I was warned I didn’t listen but I’ve had time to reflect on the abuse I suffered at the hands of @beritaafrosoul & I’ve forgiven her gaslighting!” Nota claimed.

While the former couple continues to trend on social media, Berita seemingly responded to Nota in a short tweet: “life goes on.”
When a fan told her that she should insult him back, she responded:
“Tbh [to be honest] I don’t think like that. I wish him well. I wish he can be content and happy within himself🙏🏽”
