Two alleged child kidnappers burnt alive by angry mob

Two alleged child kidnappers were killed in their escaped vehicle after the car was torched by an angry mob.

Polokwane Weekly reported earlier (Wednesday, 17 August) that the kidnappers were caught after allegedly trying to kidnap children at a plaza near Nzhelele.

It is reported that the third suspect was rescued from the burning vehicle on the arrival of the police.

THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE INCIDENT

The incident happened in Nzhelele Biaba outside Louis Trichardt in Limpopo province.

Reports suggest that these child kidnappers were caught after abducting two children. They were unsuccessful in trying to escape in their Toyota Etios, which was set alight with them inside.

“Community members managed to track them down, the vehicle was set alight with them inside while two victims were reunited with their families.”

A thing or two to be learnt by residents of Nzhelele. Last week the community of Tembisa in Gauteng handed over two suspects to the police after a baby boy had gone missing.

The boy, Ofentse Poopedi, went missing in Tembisa and his lifeless body was discovered near Centurion, with some of his body parts removed.
Two men were arrested and charged with kidnapping and murder for the Tembisa boy’s case.

Moses Bokaba, 35, and Joseph Puseletso, 52, were handed over to the Ivory Park police station by residents last Tuesday after the boy was reported missing.
Upon investigation by the police, they pointed out where they dumped the body parts of the missing boy, according to News24.
The duo appeared in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court last Friday on charges of murder and kidnapping.
