Olaf Scholz the German Chancellor agreed with Biden about trying to end the war in the Middle East. He said they hope Sinwars death will help lead to a cease-fire in Gaza and the release of hostages
Biden got a special award from Frank-Walter Steinmeier‚ the German President. Its called the Special Class of the Grand Cross and its the highest honor Germany gives to heads of state. George H.W. Bush got the same award about 30 years ago
