Israels military keeps hitting northern Gaza and Lebanon with airstrikes even though the US hoped Yahya Sinwars death might change things in the year-long fight. In Beit Lahia a northern Gaza town‚ an Israeli airstrike hit some houses yesterday killing at least 73 people (as Gaza civil defense says). Rescue teams worked all night because many people were still stuck under whats left of the buildings
Israels army says the numbers Gaza officials gave are too high and dont match what they think happened in their careful attacks on Hamas targets. Earlier yesterday Israeli forces went around two hospitals in northern Gaza and shot at them (local health people say). Israel says its soldiers try not to hurt regular people while they look for Hamas fighters and stop them from getting together near Israels border
The fight is also going on in Lebanon. Smoke was seen coming from areas around Beirut as Israeli planes hit Hezbollah targets. Israel says these targets were places to keep weapons that were hidden in buildings where people live

- A drone was sent towards Benjamin Netanyahus house in Caesarea area yesterday. It didnt hit his home and he and his wife werent there. No one got hurt
- In Gaza about 42519 people have died in the war (Gaza Health Ministry says). In Lebanon about 2448 people have died (Lebanon Health Ministry says). These numbers dont say if theyre regular people or fighters
- Israel thinks about 1200 people died when Hamas attacked on 10/7/23‚ with more than 300 of them being soldiers. It says 355 soldiers have died in its Gaza fighting since then
