Elon Musk the worlds richest person according to Forbes‚ kicked off a daily $1 million giveaway yesterday (10/19/24) in Harrisburg‚ Pennsylvania. This event is part of his effort to back Donald Trumps presidential campaign
The first lucky winner‚ John Dreher got a surprise $1 million check at the rally. Musk said “By the way John had no idea So anyway youre welcome“ as he handed over the check. The giveaway is tied to signing an online petition supporting the U.S Constitution and will continue until the election in about two weeks
Musk has been using his wealth to influence the presidential race between Trump and Kamala Harris. He started America PAC (a political action organization) to support Trumps campaign‚ Its helping to:
- Mobilize voters
- Register new voters
- Focus on battleground states
So far‚ Musk has given at least $75 million to America PAC. This makes it a big part of Trumps attempt to get back in the White House
At the Pennsylvania event‚ Musk made some strong claims. He suggested that if Harris wins it will be “the last election“ implying the U.S. wont exist after that. He also talked about assassination attempts on Trump saying they prove hes shaking things up unlike Harris

Musk has been more and more supportive of Republican causes lately. If Trump wins‚ he might appoint Musk to lead a government efficiency commission. This shows how close the two have become in recent years
