The polish Civic Coalition led by Donald Tusk starts its internal-voting process to determine whoʼll represent the party in next years presidential race. The two main contenders are Rafał Trzaskowski (whos currently serving as Warsawʼs mayor) and Radek Sikorski the Foreign Minister
The primary voting takes place on nov-22nd with party members making their choice between these high-profile candidates; both having significant political experience and public recognition. The winner will join other presidential hopefuls in a nation-wide election
The main presidential contest is set for early-2025 with initial voting planned for may. If no candidate gets more than 50% of votes in first round a run-off vote would happen in about 2 weeks time (this system ensures the future president has strong public support)
